Jerry Cohen

Jerry Cohen began his real estate investment career in 1984 and quickly became renowned as one of the largest real estate investors in the Mid-Atlantic.

Jerry has been a principal in more than 1,000 real estate investment transactions.

He is the creator of EquityBuild’s proprietary econometric model that identifies undervalued and outperforming markets.

Jerry has constructed and refined an investment approach designed to ensure his investors capitalize on the opportunities identified by his model, while uplifting target real estate investment communities.

    Shaun joined EquityBuild in 2007, his creative, yet analytical, approach to real estate investing spurred superior returns for both EquityBuild and its investors. In 2010, Shaun created EquityBuild Finance, the funding arm of EquityBuild, opening a window of additional investment opportunities for investors to secure their financial future through turnkey real estate investments. In 2013, Shaun was named a “cutting edge entrepreneur.”

    Ron has spent over 27 years in real estate, with a focus on residential and commercial asset acquisition and construction.  His expertise spans from strategy consulting to business development and operations, with an emphasis on value engineering and value creation over a combined commercial asset portfolio worth over $250 million. Ron is the creator of the PCR process and inspection protocol used to analyze each opportunity considered by the fund.

    Tyler DeRoo Director of Underwriting and Acquisitions

    Tyler is responsible for overseeing the underwriting process of assets considered for the fund, overseeing the company’s real estate portfolio and executing fund and property-level business plans. Tyler is a finance and commercial real estate professional with over 10 years experience in credit origination, asset management, acquisition, disposition, underwriting and valuation, leasing, credit structuring, and due diligence.
    Tyler brings with him the experience of leading teams responsible for over $300 Million in commercial real estate acquisitions.
